         <title><![CDATA[Carol Singing Workshop]]></title>

	This year we had a 2 hour Carol Singing Workshop in Milton Keynes led by David Meek. We learnt 4 part harmony versions of Gaudete and Joy to the World, and then ran through a few more standards in 4 parts. This was followed by singing to the people coming out of the matinee at Milton Keynes theatre and then in the pub which was much warmer and was very well received.

         <title><![CDATA[Olympiad Boat Project]]></title>

	Olympiad Boat Project

	Singing City were lucky enough to be involved in singing to the beautiful Olympiad Boat in the centre of Milton Keynes in July 2012. We sang two songs led by David Meek, "Somewhere over the Sea" and a Shanty written especially for the project. We welcomed the boat which had been built from all sorts of different bits of wood, each with their own story, and had been sailing all around the UK before coming to rest in Milton Keynes. The boat really was beautiful

         <title><![CDATA[Half Time Choir]]></title>

	The Half Time Choir was our first main event for The Singing City where we had a series of workshops run by the lively Gitika Partington and culminated in a very cold but highly enjoyable performance at the MK Stadium. Please have a look at the you tube link if you haven't already.
