Carol Singing Workshop

This year we had a 2 hour Carol Singing Workshop in Milton Keynes led by David Meek. We learnt 4 part harmony versions of Gaudete and Joy to the World, and then ran through a few more standards in 4 parts. This was followed by singing to the people coming out of the matinee at Milton Keynes theatre and then in the pub which was much warmer and was very well received.

A few of us (who clearly don't have proper jobs!) were able to sing carols in Sainsburys at the bottom of the escalator, where no one could escape. It was lovely to be able to sing together in harmony, even though we did "Repeat the Sounding Joy" many times! We had some good feedback from the store and did well in the collecting buckets.

In total we raised £399.61 for Willen Hospice over the two sessions.
